Saint1 Carlo Acutis died when he was just fifteen. He knew his time on Earth was coming to an end, but he found peace in Christ, particularly in Adoration.
Amelia hasn’t been able to speak in over two years (and she used to be such a chatterbox!), so it’s difficult to know how much she understands. But we still can hope she feels the peace and love of Christ, in our prayers, in mass, and with our community.
St. Carlo, please pray for Amelia’s peace, and for everyone who knows her, now and in eternity.
Amelia’s Christmas Novena - Day 6
O Lord, Word of God, You, whose glory is complete, came to us in perfect humility as a child in the womb. Your love for us and Your humility is unsurpassed and brings us to our knees in prayer and worship.
Your incarnation forever changed the world.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
O Lord, infant Jesus, give us Your peace! You are the Prince of Peace and the ultimate fulfillment of your incarnation brings us to you in heaven where peace will come to perfection. We pray for peace this Christmas.
We also pray for the healing of Amelia, and that her miraculous cure will bring all who know her closer to You.
May Your Holy Will be done in our life and with these intentions.
We pray that the work of salvation that Your first coming began will reach fulfillment in each of us.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
Technically, he won’t be canonized until April, but even more technically, canonization means the Church recognizes that a deceased person is a saint, not makes them a saint. There are many uncanonized saints in Heaven.
🙏🏽
I believe there are many uncanonized saints walking this earth too.
“St. Amelia”, for example.
Shalom.
Amen 🙏🏼
