Return to Lourdes
A great documentary for those interested
As you might assume, few people went to Lourdes in 2020. The Order of Malta canceled their annual trip. Typically, they go in the first week of May, since May is the month of Mary. Spring 2021 was still a little sketchy, so the order delayed until the fall, and so hadn’t been in two and a half years.
While we were in Lourdes last week, we met a filmmaker named Peter Scudner, one of the knights of Malta. He took it upon himself to make a documentary about their return to Lourdes, called Return to Lourdes. Vimeo won’t let me embed the video here for some reason, but here’s the link.
