Amelia is blessed to have so many kind and generous people around her wanting to help. Along with the doctors, nurses, and therapists who watch over her, many people have donated to her GoFundMe, contributed airline and hotel points for seeing hospitals out of state, and of course all of you have been praying for her.
Over the summer, a parent at Kirrily’s school connected us with a school that specializes in helping children like Amelia. She excited to be starting there next week.
Also soon, Amelia will be getting a feeding tube, to ensure she gets enough calories and nutrients. It kinda feels like crossing a Rubicon, and so I want to ask for your prayers one more time…
Praying Together
Recently, I attended a seminar at the Encounter School of Ministry (a Catholic lay organization) about physical healing through prayer. One of their people offered to come and pray over Amelia. Along with our parish priest, he’s coming over today at 3:00pm (California time, obviously).
We’re asking everyone who can to join us from wherever you are in praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet. All you need is a rosary, or as Fr. Mike says, ten fingers.
If you use Hallow, here’s a link. Here’s a text version, or you can pray along with the video below—
